After detoxification is provided, clients must begin to develop the life skills they will need to be successful after treatment. Our residential services, which are evidence based and trauma-responsive, provide time to stabilize emotions, heal and focus on learning new skills, behaviors and ways of thinking that will help with returning to outside life and commit to lasting change.
Holland Pathways works closely with residents to build individual treatment plans that determine the services that are most critical to their success. Most of our therapists are dually-licensed and thus can recognize underlying issues and design the best treatment plan for each client. These generally include group and individual sessions with licensed, substance abuse experts, as well as other therapeutic activities that help strengthen the mind, body and spirit to provide the confidence and resolve needed for lasting results.
During their stay, residents will enjoy an accepting and safe environment. They will interact with others who face similar challenges, building a sense of camaraderie that will boost their social skills and self-esteem. Supported by a caring and knowledgeable staff, clients will glimpse what a life in recovery can offer, providing additional incentive to embrace the process and pursue recovery with renewed resolve. Residents also enjoy comfortable rooms and welcoming common areas where they can relax, renew their spirit and engage with others. Healthy and delicious meals prepared by a certified dietary manager ensures they are fully fueled and ready to face the task at hand.
